Madeleine has been a member of the POPS since it first began in 2000. Her rich alto voice is filled with passion and emotion. She reaches directly to the audience when she performs. She is also the music librarian for the ensemble. We wouldn't be so organized without her! Merci, Madeleine!

Mona joined the Peterborough Pop Ensemble recently with her husband Mike. Music has played an enormous role in her life – singing in church and school choirs, studying piano, and playing the trumpet in jazz ensembles was a big part of her youth. In her 40’s, Mona took up the electric bass, playing and singing in classic rock bands for several years. Most recently, Mona was part of a trio, The Decades, performing harmony laden songs of the 50’s/60’s, to entertain in retirement residences. She is currently loving her dream job in retirement as an elementary piano teacher, and singing alto in the wonderful Peterborough Pop Ensemble is icing on the cake!
